ele tee

a unique t-shirt that uses storytelling & tech to teach kids about conservation while raising much needed funding for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

we needed to create a new revenue stream for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, but in a way that would inspire and encourage greater understanding of the plight of African elephants.

storytelling is one of the easiest ways to encourage empathy for an otherwise abstract or far-flung problem, such as elephant conservation.

so we created the ele tee.

the ele tee is a one-sleeved shirt that uses technology to ‘unlock’ a story about Garzi the Orphan, one of the orphaned elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

the story immerses children (and adults!) into the issues facing elephant populations in Africa, such as poaching and human-wildlife conflict.
